Meeting Cancellations: In the event we must cancel a meeting due to the Coronavirus situation, all registered attendees will be contacted via email and phone and a notice will be posted on our website. If you are enrolled in a course that has been cancelled, you should receive a phone call and email with additional details (please check your spam).

 

Meeting Changes: While we endeavor to always hold our meetings as scheduled, there may be changes due to COVID-19 or travel circumstances beyond our control. We may be forced to replace a scheduled lecturer or topics, or to have some lectures presented live via Zoom.


Travel: While we are doing our best to communicate rapidly fluctuating regulations and changes in regards to local meeting site COVID-19 procedures, we are not responsible for changing requirements such as masking, proof of vaccination, testing or travel requirements. Please consult local Country/State/County government and your airline websites frequently for the most current COVID-19 restrictions and prevention protocols. Attendance is at your own risk. By attending, you understand that you are assuming the risk of possibly contracting COVID-19 under the current circumstances of the global pandemic. NWAS/NWS/NWWT are NOT responsible for any risks related to the exposure to COVID-19. NWAS/NWS/NWWT will NOT be responsible for any non-refundable airfare, car rentals, hotel fees, or other liabilities you may incur if you are required to cancel your trip due to illness, if you are denied entry into the host Country/Hotel or the meeting due to local Covid-19 policies, or if you are required to extend your stay to quarantine or you are denied return entry into your home country, or for any other reason. Prevention


The best way to prevent infection is to get vaccinated and to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including:
  •  coronavirus • Wear a mask or facial covering to help protect others in your community.
  •   • Practice social distancing.
  •   • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  •   • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  •   • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  •   • Stay home when you are sick.
  •   • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  •   • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
