Can Registered Nurses attend NWAS/NWS courses?
Yes. Registered Nurses can attend NWAS/NWS courses and receive continuing education credit.
Our courses are all approved on an individual basis by the AANA. We are an approved provider for the Arkansas State Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), District of Columbia Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), Florida Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), Georgia Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), and South Carolina Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480). Our courses are also approved for CME through a joint providership with the A. Webb Roberts Center for Continuing Medical Education of Baylor Scott & White Health. So, our courses offer a couple different credit options: CME, CEC, and CE.
State boards of nursing that require continuing education (some of them do not require any), will normally accept at least one (many times all) of the following:
* Continuing education hours approved by another state board of nursing
